a tangled mess

This is my first attempt at the many, many short rows of Lizard Ridge. It's a gorgeous pattern, and well worth the effort to learn how to do this technique. This first square got ripped out three times before I finally "got it". Now, it's positively addictive.

Yarn — Noro Kureyon, color 102 (top) and 180. One ball makes one 11 x 11 square; this baby blanket sized project will consist of 12 squares, at a retail cost of about $100.
