weaving samples

I sleyed a random color warp, using 7 colors of mercerized perle cotton. That turned into a tangled mess, but I know how to do it right now. This is learning stuff; I wanted to see how the solid weft interacted with the multi color warp, and tried out a few simple twills and blocks. The fabric would be useful for something like a table runner. Same warp for both samples. The background sample has been wet finished, so it's a bit neater looking.

5/2 perle cotton, sett 12 epi. I just tell you this cause I love the weaving vocabulary : )
