Yarn — Cascade 220, col. 4006, 1320 yards (5 skeins for size XL) retail cost around $35.00
Pattern — Kathy Zimmerman, in XRX Guy Knits, or Knitters Fall 1998
Gauge — 5 sts/inch on US7 needles

Start — 8.13.08
Finish — 9.02.08

I'm pretty happy with this project. Minor pattern mods of doing short-row shaping on the shoulders, and 3 row buttonholes. The 220 wool is wonderful to work with, and the pattern was perfect. I was able to pick up the specified number of stitches for the bands exactly.

And now it's going away for 3 months, to be part of a trunk show.
