The Kid and I did a batch of yarn today. Here is her protective gear, complete with tie and sunglasses. A bit over the top maybe? 
This color scheme is her design. She was thinking "Fires of Hell". This is the teenage mind at work.
The Kid is here this week, and we are finally putting together my loom. It's been sitting in boxes for about a year. I'm totally intimidated by this piece of equipment. It's a 16-harness, 36" loom with a computer interface, which means it will do very complex patterns without my little brain having to remember long treadling sequences.
We are short a part or two, and the wrong heddles were sent with it, so we'll have a couple weeks of downtime before getting things going, dang it. I can't wait to get a project on this loom!
